Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan's Playful Bar Rivalry Heats Up on Lower Broadway

Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan have reignited their playful rivalry, this time focusing on the Nashville bars located directly across from each other on Lower Broadway. Shelton initiated the banter with an Instagram video taken from the rooftop of his venue, Ole Red, where he expressed his appreciation for the view. He noted that he rarely gets the chance to enjoy the rooftop scenery due to his usual presence on stage.
In his video, Shelton showcased the various honky-tonks in the area, highlighting several popular spots. He mentioned establishments like Honky Tonk Central and Broadway Brewhouse, as well as Jason Aldean's bar and Post Malone's venue, emphasizing his support for the local scene. However, the tone shifted when he spotted Bryan's bar, 32 Bridge. Shelton humorously remarked on the lack of patrons, jokingly dubbing it "Ghost Town USA" and calling Bryan a "loser."
Bryan quickly retaliated by poking fun at Shelton's age in the comments section, suggesting that he was so old he frequented bars at 10 am. He also shared a TikTok video of himself driving past Ole Red, playfully referencing potential food poisoning.
Both artists are currently busy with their respective careers. Bryan recently released his album, Signs, and is set to return as a judge on the upcoming 25th season of American Idol alongside Carrie Underwood and Lionel Richie, with Ryan Seacrest hosting. Shelton, on the other hand, concluded his Live in Las Vegas residency earlier this year and is scheduled to headline the Hondo Rodeo Fest in Phoenix next month.
Given their history of friendly jabs, it seems unlikely that this lighthearted rivalry will come to an end anytime soon.
